I had the good fortune to be part of two bands who opened for Pantera on several occasions during the time when they were making the transition from club band to the big time. In every instance, Darrell (and the rest of the guys) were friendly, supportive and a blast to hang out with. While his death saddens me, it's great to know that he established a legacy that will live forever and that his music will continue to bring people joy. RIP Dime.
