My memory of Charles is that of a warm, intelligent and generous family friend who loved life. He radiated fun and good humour in any gathering and was the most attentive host.His glass always appeared to be half-full with every reason given to be positive. Knowing Charles was a privilege and thinking of him always makes me smile. Thank you and Vale Karcsi!

Teaching his grandchildren, that when you play memory on a glass table you can look underneath to cheat, or insisting that he video the kids favourite shows so that he could sit down and watch with them when they visited.
