Every once in a while one hears of things that leave one feeling very sad. Celine's passing is one of those instances. My mind immediately flashed back to those happy days when I would visit her and her brother Alwyn at their parent's home in Karachi. I was a friend and classmate Alwyn, and my sisters were good friends with Celine. Sad to say, over the years I lost touch with the family. I remember Celine as a wonderfully caring and vivacious young woman, who always had time for others. I am sure Celine lived a full and happy life, giving much joy to her family and friends, who must all feel fortunate and blessed to have known her. May the Lord rest her soul in peace.
Celine, your sense of humour, your vivacious nature and your engaging smile will forever be in my heart. We sang together, first with MSG and later as the Mini Singers of Gospel with Cyndee Peeters and finally MMGC. You always looked gorgeous - even when you probably weren't feeling the best - and I'm glad I told you so. You will be missed by so many. My deepest sympathy is extended to your family. Missed forever but never forgotten. All my Love - Margie O'Connor (Tenor)
