Carole was very special to me. Her friendship as a college student helped me get through college. I was not a great student in school but Carole inspired me to work hard and study to get my Teaching Certificate. Later I was able to move on and get a master's degree and a Pre-Doctoral Certificate. Coincidentally we both went to Canada and received our further education. I am sad as I find a wonderful person had such a short life. John

Dear Family of Carole, today I read here of the death of Carole. Carole and Geoff were in my life in our early years in Sydney and I was a guest at their wedding. We met up years later in Canberra where our families lived for many years. A few years ago I reconnected with her, over several visits. It was a privilege to know Carole, to sit with her gentle yet strong spirit. To me, hers was a truly good life, lived well.
