Wonderful memories, never forgotten, in God's loving care.

I met Carmel at the Wllloughby Prayer group about a year ago. I warmed to her immediately and she was so easy to talk to about everything & I enjoyed some great talks about God and she gave me a beutiful statue of Mary and her book on the Mass . I just loved her energy and the way her face lit up when she talked to you. She was so kind to visit my mother who was quite sick. Even though i only knew her a short time i felt i knew her a long time.
She showed me once her rosary beads and how they had changed color at Medjurgorie..i commented that i was so envious that mine hadnt and that even though i have a strong devotion to the rosary i have never had a 'sign'. I got to her funeral early to share in the rosary and during the Mass i smelt roses fo the first time..i like to think this was Carmel influencing Mary or Jesus to reveal themselves to me.
Will miss you Carmel .Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord and let perpetual light shine on her. May the souls o the faithful departed rest in peace.

Knowing Carmel for 40 odd years, meeting at St Thomas' School Willoughby with our children, and sharing mishaps in our lives and families, together with sharing our wonderful Jesus, has given me memories to cherish. Coming together in prayer is a powerful ignition to shift us to a different place where there is no fear, only an inner peace, no matter what turbulence is around about us, for we believe, we know, the Lord heard and answered, and this Carmel and I did together often over the years. We would say, we KNOW what our faith is about, we did seek, and we did find, we know that we know. How I loved to be with you Carmel, your encouragement was precious to me, and our talks about the Holy Spirit will never be forgotten. May you rest in the presence of the Lord in your everlasting life as you rested in Him here on earth. It has been my pleasure to know you and love you, thank you for loving me and my family and for your prayers for us. May your family who were so precious to you and the Lord, increase in their faith as you desired and we prayed for. I will continue to pray for them as we agreed.

THis is my second comment i just loved Aunty Carm so much. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She was a saint to all of us. We all will never forget her!
Love you Aunty Carmel

I only met her once but she really touched my heart. To me she is a Saint and I really wish I had spent more time with her.
I love you Aunty Carmel

Your life was very much touched by the cross. Now you have gone to claim your crown. So unpretentious and yet so unswerving in your charity and in your prayers. You never wavered in your faith and you never had a bad word to say. "Well done, good and faithful servant". Who can take over your mantle? We love you Carmel and we will miss you terribly.

I met Carmel at the Willoughby prayer group about a year ago. She welcomed me warmly to the group and i found her faith inspirational. She gave me some rosary beads and a statue of Mary which i will treasure. She was also very kind to my elderly mother who needed some support. I will miss you Carmel .
