Mr Bernie Mac was a fantastic person. He made me laugh with his straight up, no holding back, in your face comedy. The Bernie Mac Show should be a show all families watch together at some point or another. The messages that he set out to give us were awesome. I am just a regular person who will always be a fan. I am gonna watch the "Kangs" tonight. RIP Uncle Bernie. You will never be forgotten.

The one thing I loved about Bernie Mac's humor is that is was real and relative. I would sit and laugh for hours about how his jokes resembled my family and those around me. My favorite jokes that Bernie would tell was about the kids he had to take in because his sister was on drugs. Although Bernie talked about those kids horribly, he truly loved children. Yo could see that in his marriage to the same woman. I say to the family, "Weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning". Hold your heads up. That's what Bernie would have wanted. He left all of us a huge legacy of joy and laughter, that as a fan I will hold dear i my heart. Rest on Bernie.

My heart goes out to Bernie Mac's family his wife, children, and to all of his other family members as well. I loved all of Bernie Macs's shows, def comedy jam he's the man he always made me laugh, i have all of the movies and video of Def Comedy Jam. I have got all of his Bernie Mac shows recorded on vhs. now they are keepsakes, and to his children i can't say that i know how it feels to lose a parent but know this god chose this path for him, so don't be sad for him, celebrate his home going and all of your hearts will heal in time.

I remember the first time I saw Bernie Mac on the HBO production of DEF COMEDY. I am not sure of the year, but, none-the-less, I followed his career from then on. I, as many who are from Chicago respected the fact that one of our own made it and the fact that he never left home to roost somehere else is truly wonderful. Any thing that he was a part of I wanted to see, for he was truly a great comedian and a good actor as well, within each character that he prortrayed. I couldn't believe the new saturday when I saw that Bernie Mac had passed. He was a true inspiration to me showing that you don't have to come from money to be somebody. He has touched so many people with his comedy, especially in his stand up and bernie mac show.
