There is a place called PERGOLESI, you can find it at the square at Diest. Barry loved their lasagna and especially the ice creams. When we went there when it was nice weather we could sitt outside and for sure Barry could manage two ice creams like the one on the photo.
This photo is taken at one of the Summer animation days at Diest, square He loved to see the Romeo's perform... http://www.deromeos.be/NL/live.php
Barry loved to drive around Diest on the scooter and make a lot of photo's
which most of them you would put on letter 2 me dad xx
Barry and our sweetie, Sparky, a Tricolor Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, born January 2004. Barry called him SUSKE, a Dutch word for Darling. Sparky also knew where to go beg on the table and Barry always gave him something under the table from his food...

I have known Barry for many years. He first contacted me about his daughter Jody's sick box turtle and we have been friends ever since. I will miss his humor and good nature. I know he loved his family, Monique , his homeland, the Beatle's and the Beatle's Tribute Band. He was a man of many talents, but mostly, a man who in sickenss or in health, thought of his friends and family foremost. I will never forget him and hope Monique and his family and friends will soon remember the good times more often than the sad times. Tess in the USA
Tem muitos amigos aqui no Brasil que jamais o esquecerão! Teremos sempre na nossa lembrança, o seu carinho, a sua amizade,espontaneidade,alegria...que você partilhou conosco....
Wish we knew you Barry ... sad we never met ... I believe you were a beautiful person.
Els, age 20 is a very good friend of us. At Barry's funeral service she wrote herself very touching words and read it load to Barry and family and friends being there. We are are so proud at this lovely helpfull young girl.
Barry always happy when he could go somewhere on holidays or just for a day trip. He never would have gone out without his camera, even when we just went to the square here in Diest, 2 linutes from our home, he took his camera with him. He said you never know if there is a nice picture to take and yes, he made a whole lot of very nice pictures.
Photo taken in England, Wembley, in a room at the Premier Lodge. Happy to see his son. Barry, a proud Dad and full of love
