I met Barb when I kept my young thoroughbred in her pasture in Woodside. Over the months and years we became good friends and I got to know her family. We spent many an evening drinking red wine and laughing in her kitchen. She really was an inspiration in strength and spirit—and forever in my heart.

Sorry to learn Barbara passed over. It was sad to loose your father and now also your mother. I wish all the family to recover from this dolour, believing that they are now together again.
I still remember the grace and kindness of Barbara and her warm approach.
We will pray for her.

Just heard that Barbara has passed away and feel a great sadness. I enjoyed a long friendship with John and Barb lasting for about 20 years. Over that period Barb showed great kindness and support to me and to others, kindness that I have never forgotten. She was the rock upon which the Heine family depended and our condolences go to Peta, Kate and Mark who I'm sure will miss her greatly.
Her enthusiasm for Hippotherapy and for gardening never dimmed despite the pain of her back injury and she became an inspiration to many of us to just get on with life.
