The phone calls, every single year, on birthdays to make sure that we'd received your birthday money, as you were always deeply concerned the cheque would never get banked, or get lost.
Every Christmas, you would wander over to us, "What is it that you have there pet?" and attempt to use the gadget we'd opened, regardless of what it was.
The constant encouragement of eating 'sweets' after dinner, and having a spoonful of ice cream with you.
Calling you, and having to hold the phone 30cms away from our ears because of your loud voice due to your hearing impairment, and conversely yelling back at the phone to talk to you.
Listening to you sing 'home on the range,' always out of key.
Having to sleep in the next room to you, and not being able to because of your snoring :)
God bless you, Pop. I can't being to tell you how much you mean to us all, your death has left a mark on us all that can't be explained. Visiting Nan and Pop, will never be the same, without your presence. You will be missed dearly.
