I have flown this route many times in my life, and only returned from Rio to London on 21st of May 2009, so it has shocked me to think that it could have been me.
I feel for the loss of all on board, and just hope now they are at peace.

-The accident took place without anyones knowledge and was beyond the scope of land based radar.

how to start sharing my feelings.........
on sunday I got a nightmare that theres a flight crash over Atlantic. when i told this to my sister and friend they laughed it off and I also felt lighter thinking that was just a dream.
but within 24 hours it became harsh reality and I am dumbfounded at this moment. My heart is with the relatives of 228 passengers of the cursed flight. but why on earth I got that dream- this would remain a question to me as long as i live.

I pray for the peace of the souls of all who have died in crash. I express my heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families of the flight, I pray God will give them strength to bear the loss of their loved ones, and may the Almighty settle them. Jesus wept when lazarus died, he knows the pain of death, now he will take control of the bereaved families.
I am deeply shocked and stunned on hearing the news that Air France Flight AF 447 has been lost and in all probability met with a disaster wherin the chance of any survivor is very bleak. I pray to the Almighty to give courage and tolerance to the near and dear ones of all the 228 victims so that they can withstand the loss and also grant peace to the souls which are physically no more. This great accident may be in the headlines of all newspapers and television news channels of all languages throughout the world for one day and will be forgotten soon but the tragedy is that those who lost their lives have lost them forever. I once again pray to GOD so that the souls of the dead rest in peace.
Why is there a memorial site when the fate of the flight is unknown? I found this site when it was in google's sidebar ads. They're paying for ad space to get people to click their ads here; they're exploiting people's emotions for profit. For shame.
My wife was not feeling good the whole day when the accident gonna happened. She was very tense and said " I feel there is very very bad thing gonna happen" It's trouble that we can not do anything.
That's all she said. I told her "may be you eat too much and sleep too much so you dream too much"
She said "I feel very much agitated and feel very bad. Some thing seriously gonna happen."
I wish she can tell more. It was just a feeling. And lots of them died.

I have thought about contacting Air France. I feel that I may be considered
I have dreams that come true and in the past the detail has been very accurate. When I dreamt about Lockerbie I dreamt about a bomb that ripped through the centre of the plane and a nosedive of the cockpit to the ground. When news emerged experts counted in weather and mechanical failure for the crash. I knew it was a bomb and could discount the weather and mechanical failure as being a factor. I was thirteen.
Yesterday I dreamt about an emergency landing on water and had a vivid dream that this morning had questioned about. I woke about 4.00am London Time. The dream told me that the plane past ruins in its descent that ruins could be see from the plane windows. In the dream this was by water as we then landed on water. I could assume that these were on land they did suggest so but this is clearly ruins that may possibly be in water. They were boulders of rock, sandy coloured. The dream also told me that the passengers did not know of any problems with the plane until the decent into water. This means that the pilot may have launched emergency signals and reported the emergency elsewhere but didnt concern any of the passengers at this stage. An attempt was made to land the plane on water and neither passengers showed fear of selfishness but showed restraint and obedience of whom all are now at peace.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to all the families and Air France.

It is a great sorrow for everybody in this world to everyone who lost a family member , friends , father ,etc.. to me what I would hope that the flight has lost communication but didn't crash may God almight hear the Prayers of fellow families and friends , let believe to this point that the AF 447 landed somewhere before we jump into negative conclusin

I agree on yo opinion cttm we never know any survival hope can be possible , I hope being optimist is better , if the Brazilian airforce can't see any debris , I quite certain that the airplane could have maybe landed in some atlantic ocean islands we never know cttm I luv yo into put love an care from D
The fact that the plane is missing isnt a very good sign, and by now, with all the planes going over there to search, I'm sure someone should have reported something. Its possible they've found the debris field. The authorities have also probably started gathering the pieces of the plane to try determine the cause of the accident. They wont leak any information yet to try keep any potential debris field undisturbed.
Perhaps by some miracle, the plane has landed. However, I follow a lot of air disasters and an electrical fault isnt a very good sign, especially if its serious enough to be relayed back to AF. If theres a severe electrical fault, the plane can become uncontrollable, or even catch fire as was the case with Swiss Air 111

another fact is, that the plane relayed a fault message back to AF. Believe me, if such a message originates, its not because a bulb has blown on the plane, only serious catastrophic electrical fault reporting is done in this manner. But lets hope for a miracle!
May God touch the hearts of the families who as of now have lost their loved ones. A plane missing over the Atlantic surely it has crashed, it cannot just disappear.

You have no idea whats happend, if they cant find the bodies then theres no reason to think of them dead...
wake up and smell the coffee, dont u watch air-crash investigation! The signs are not very promising that the plane survived. If it survived they would have definitely have found it by now.
