Aaron, I think of you everyday. The hardest part is not being able to just pick up the phone, email you or text you about all the silly comments and jokes we use to share. I still talk to you and to this day, I still don't want to accept that you are not here. We were suppose to grow old together. I don't think you ever really knew what you meant to me and now that you are not here, there will always be a hole in my heart. Alex

My son, Aaron Rankin Dunning, was one of the three the lights of my life along with Louise and Shelley, his sisters. Unfortunately the family divided nearly thirty years ago and I virtually lost contact with him. I lived just outside Melbourne and he in Sydney. Like me with my family in England Aaron never kept in touch so that, although he has gone from this world, I miss him as I did all the years of not seeing him like the rest of the family did. And as I wasn't used to seeing him or hearing from him he continues to exist in my memory as he did before. Sad but true. He was my "Pud". I always called him Pud from when he was very young and a little, chubby "Pudding". He was one of the most talented persons I ever knew and the world could have been his if only he had been guided. I miss you so much my Aarony-polony and I always will. Much love always, all ways, Your dad, Jay and my Diana

My boy - I miss you every day and will until the end of my life. I miss our talks our laughs and being able to give you a hug. I walk every day on the beach with your lovely Border Collie (Nina) and talk to you. You have left me with some beautiful memories to cherish forever darling. Love from your Mum X

Is it possible that this is the great guy I met in London in 1986. A long time ago now but we kept in contact for sometime after he returned to Australia. He made a lasting impression on me and I have many memories and letters and cards. We were great friends in London, my last address for him was in St Kilda. I am saddened for your loss.

I was looking through my old photo albums and I saw I photo of Aaron taken at my Mum's place with his first car, so I thought I must look him up. I didn't remember his middle name, but when I saw Rankin a light bulb lit up and I knew that must be him. If I am right we did Graphic Design together at Perth Tech in 1981, he lived on Metcalfe Rd with his Mum and sisters and we were great friends, if only for a short time. I lost contact when he went over east, and I am very sorry so say we didn't keep in touch, even more so now i know I will never have that chance again. He was a great guy when i knew him and and I'm sure he would have continued to be that to all who knew him for the rest of his life. Kind Regards Fran Bolland

Hello Fran, I remember that you were a close friend to Aaron when you were at Perth Tech. Sadly Fran, he is no longer with us in our daily lives - but what gets me through each day is the certainty that we will be together again one day. I miss him every day as do his sisters. We have all shifted up to Queensland to start our lives over as there were too many memories in Sydney. I hope your life has been everything that you wished for Fran. Good luck and thankyou for remembering my boy. Aarons' Mum...Maureen Dunning

My darling Aaron, The words of a card I once gave you said this: "Once in a lifetime someone comes into our life that we really connect with heart to heart ... soul to soul. A friendship develops and love follows. With all my being I know that you are my 'once in a lifetime',and each time I think of you I realize how lucky I am to have found you. Thank you for all your love ... thank you for all that you are ... thank you for being a part of my life each and every day. I love you." Those words are as true today as they were then. I think about you every day, I miss you so much, and I will love you forever. Drew
