I remembered Gerald and Sean when they were with Levert and did a show out in Columbus Park on the westside of chicago, I still have Sean's autograph that he gave to my then five year son. I also remembered Seanas alittle boy with big men jewelry. My prayers are with the family.

my memory of sean, gerald and eddie comes from my night at Westbury Music Fair, in Long Island. The three shared the stage and it was awesome. But, the best part of that shwo was when they sang Wind beneath my wings. close your eyes and it sounded like one big voice. There were definite their father's sons. there was not a dry eye in the house when it was all over. a long lasting standing ovation was what they received. I was so glad i was able to make THAT show. I just wished someone had recorded it live. believe me you would cry today if you hear it. I loved them all. and The O'jays are still my all time favorite. God Bless the entire LEVERT family. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to the Levert family, especially to the parents of Gerald and Sean. I was saddened by the news of Gerald, and when I read about Sean I couldnt believe that this had happended. Loosing a loved one is very painful, I know. I lost my younger and only brother 6 months ago and it still is very hard on me, we were very close. But to loose a child must be even more difficult. My prayers are with you, I may not know you but I love you and may God be with you and your family

It was only a year and four months ago when the world lost Gerald and now sean. May God wrap his loving, comforting arms around the entire Levert family and their fans. I remembered seeing Levert and the O'Jays at the fox in St. Louis. They were on before Patti Labelle. I am a huge fan of them all. But what I remember is seeing the joy on their faces. They always had the biggest smiles n their faces. They seemed to love to be on that stage together. The love they had for each other could be felt in the audience. Some friends of mine, one name Pookie Lane, always included The Family Levert's music in his show. I was devastated to hear about Gerald and even more taken by Sean. My deepest sympathy to the Levert family. They will truly be missed.

I rememneber when Shawn was a surprise guest with Gerald at the star plaza theatre up in merrillville Indiana I believe in 2001 I was so glad to see Shawn I had not seen or heard from in a while.

I'll never forget how devastated Sean was when he remembered his brother Gerald on the BET special as well as his memorial. One could think that though he's left a devastated family, perhaps he is happy again--laughing with the brother he "learned everything from". Bible says God never gives us more than we can bear.
