I remember meeting you and Gerald in Hotel in DC the night Tyson quit fighting, being I'm from Canton Ohio we sat and talked for quite awhile, I was amazed that both of you had held to your roots as your Dad and the O'jays did. Last summer in the park in Canton as we saluted the O'jays you remained that same Shawn still down to earth. Eddie you raised to great sons talented but down to earth, apple don't fall far from the tree

I am the same age as sean and when i was a teenager i fell in love with Levert since the first time i heard them on the radio in the 80's. I have every album and cd that they have ever produced. I sympathize with the family because i have lost my son also so i know the pain that Mr. Eddie and his wife and family are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sean RIP and know that you were loved and we will remember you through your music.

I was a young lady in Washington, DC. I went to the carter baron to see the "MIGHTY MIGHTY O'JAYS we in DC are big fans. Well on this saturday Eddie introduced his sons and there new band brought them on stage we started yelling let them sing, Then Eddie laughingly stated if we would pay they would sing.(lol) When they Blew up I was there #1 fan never missed a show all through the father and son tour and Those guys will be missed and rememberd for ever as one of the greatest bands ever. May The family find peace and comfort in the GOD"S hands. A WDC fan.

We were at the Westin Hotel in Washington DC on Labor Day weekend for an African Dance conference and it was cold outside. I remember the temperature was in the 40's in September. I couldn't go outside cause I brought summer gear(shorts, tank tops etc.). I was stuck in the hotel. At about 1:30 in the morning I went downstairs to find a restaurant or somewhere to get something to eat and Sean and his crew was in the lounge having a capping festival. He said hey girl you know where to get some food. I said yeah but you gotta drive up on 7th Street by Howard to get it. He said here gone and go . Bring us some wings and told one of his friends to give me the keys to their tour bus. I said boy i'm not driving that thing and everybody was cracking up laughing. I hung out with them for about an hour capping and he said, you alright homie.(i'm from the Natti). I just remember laughing and acting silly with them. And Sean kept teasing me cause it was cold and all I had to wear was the hotel robe over my sweat suit. Rest in peace homie. To the Levert Family: May God keep you in his warm embrace and get you through this difficult time. Sean & Gerald were great entertainers and my favorites.

Words can't express how sorry I am for your lost. I continue to pray for the Levert Family everyday. Remember God has plans for us and he needed two wonderful angels like Sean & Gerald......
