I've loved watching Judy's Movies and listening to her sing for YEARS. I was around 10 or 12, now I'm 64 years old. To paraphrase a comment on her Carnigie Hall Album, There is Judy Garland, and there was Judy Garland, and there the mold is broken! RIP Judy! a loving fan always, Nora

I saw Judy in person at the Boston Common at her free concert. I ran down the street after the concert was over and got to shake her hand as she rode in her limo. The concert was unforgettable. I was only about 10 feet away from her. I think that was in '68. After her death, I visited her gravesite in up state New York. I have gone through 3 Carnegie Hall vinyl records, one cassette tape and now have the cd of course. Had a 40th anniversary get together with friends to celebrate her life. It was a wonderful day. Her movies and cd's played the whole weekend. Judy is my #1 icon. Never can get enough of her voice. Took a walk today, ipod in hand and listened to Judy, the best and the greatest of all times. The first Judy Garland I saw was OZ (of course) I was 4. I waited every year for it to come on the TV. The next movie I saw when I was about 10 was A Child Is Waiting. My mother told me that was the little girl from the Wizard of Oz. I was hooked! From that time on know matter wether they were on the early show or the late late night movies I could not get enough of Judy's movies. I have a friend who gave me outtakes of the Judy Garland show. They had belonged to Sid Luft. It is amazing to watch her tranform from the rehearsel stage to the actual performance. She was a true star in every sense of the word. She will live forever in our memories

Dear Judy, I just found this web site, and THANK YOU to whoever put it together. I discovered you when I was five, and I have loved and collected on you since then, and I am now 42. You have, many times, sustained me, brought me hope and the strength to carry on when I find myself in a situation that, in your own words, "keeps me away from the world sometimes." After all of these years of loving you, it seems like saying just "thank you" isn't enough from any of us. But once in a while a new web page will come up, like this one, giving fans one more chance to say "thanks, Judy, I will always love and miss you." So, to whoever made this site, THANKS! I think Judy would feel quite honored. All my love forever, Judy... Eric Hemphill

JUDY GARLAND "GET HAPPY" Though it's called Summer Stock, this marvelous "let's put on a show" musical - the final one that showcased the peerless pair of Judy Garland and Gene Kelly - is a delight for all seasons. The story is simple: a homespun farm family allows a Broadway production company to rehearse its new show on their property - if the performers "pay" their way by pitching in with all the farm chores! But the pleasures are abundant: a show-stopping, all-star "B

Yeah sure "Over The Rainbow' was great BUT "Get Happy' number shows Judy as a full woman at her pirme and MGM did not know what to do with her...how bad is that ? This number is still my favorite, even after all these Years. Bill
