To my cousin and friend. The world has very few people like you which is a shame and you are missed by all who were touched by your magic. You were tolerant, easy going, respectful, caring and a good all round person.
Since High school at Condell Park, I have always thought about Mr Mitchell. In Year 7 I was bullied by many children, I was alone, I was quiet and I suffered. Until Mr Mitchell took me to the bruins centre and got me into training. He changed my life and to me he is a hero, and I have just found out about the news. To his family, he changed lives, he must be in a good place, the best place and I am sorry.

Don was my best mate through my teens and early 20's. I've never had a better mate. We hitch hiked to the Gold Coast and several other places up and down the coast and canoed down the Hawkesbury River while it was in flood, till we tipped over. The canoe was wedged a meter under water, stuck under tree roots, but Don just reached down and pulled it out. He was a great mate and we had lots of fun and adventures. A great teacher, friend and family man. His passing is a great loss to his family and friends, to whom my thoughts go out.
One of the most amazing men that walked the planet. his children have so much strength. Im lucky to call his Son Scott one of my best freinds.
I miss you sir. The only teacher to ever shake my hand, my last day of school and tell me you were proud. From the 8 girls in my group, i was one of the firtunate to make it almost to the end. I know i was never the perfect student, but hey, thats how we bnded, me being in your office at least once a week. I havent been at hills for almost 2 years now, and i still miss it. Mainly because of you.

You were, Paul my partner, good mate; we looked forward to seeing you and sharing our stories and adventures. We are devastated and will miss you for eternity. In our eyes you are a "Legend" and we will keep living the memory of our good times that we shared. To your family, think of the good times, our hearts go out to you. xo
