About

CHAMP

The 25-year-old passed away at St Anne’s Hospital in Maritzburg on the same night after suffering from internal injuries.

The former AmaGlug-Glug midfielder has been without a club since his departure from Abafana Bes’thende, but was reportedly due to sign for SuperSport United at the end of the current season after impressing coach Gavin Hunt towards the end of last year.

Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.

Dladla is the third Premier Soccer League player to pass away in this manner this season after the deaths of Mamelodi Sundowns’ Gift Leremi and former Black Leopards captain Fernando Matola during the second half of 2007.

My Memory

Robert G. Mchunu (Feb 12, 2008)

We all have sinned....May the soul of this wonderful player rest in peace. May the good Lord accept and welcome him in His Kingdom. To Vumile's family, I say theLord does not make mistakes. Your loss, is our loss. May you find in comfort in knowing that we are sadly all on our way to heaven. Sengathi uNkulunkulu enganipha isibindi nonke nina ebenisondelene nalo mfana
