I always enjoyed calling on Zita during my time as a travel industry sales representative. We had many long and memorable conversations about the many fascinating places she had visited. She was a great personality, courageous and an inspiration. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in the travel industry.

I am thinking of Zita from Kintore NT. It may be one of the few places Zita has not been to. It reminds me of the Flinders camel riding trip I did with Zita many years ago. Zita's warmth and hospitality will continue to inspire all of us for a long time.
This may sound wierd but I met Zita in the shop where I used to work in Mosman. We knew her as the lady who ordered the embroidered small pillows for her favourite people. I had great respect for Zita and always spent time chatting to her over the last year or two, regaling in her tales of overseas travel. May her true spirit live on in the lives of her loved ones.
