Children Tracy Simon Ian and Julie, grandchildren Nicole, Jim , Joseph, Louie, Ellie Mae and Charlie. Sisters Joan and Sylvia. \\\"Trevor an Angel sent from heaven to be with me and a light at the end of a very dark tunnel.\\\" Family was particularly important to Trevor he loved us all and would do ANYTHING at a moments notice to help them or anyone. Trevor was particularly close to his nephew Steven and loved to visit him and the family in Yorkshire .Trevor was not the blood father of my two children Ian (http://ian-james-foster numberonecityfan.gonetoo soon.co.uk/my_index.php) and Julie but he was everything but. He was a father in the true sence of the word to them both. They both adored him together with the grandchildren Louie and Charlie they adored their gabbad!! Also he said on many occasions he wished he had been their real dad. In my eyes he was. I met Trevor when I was about 25 and we got together in 1979 when I was 31. We spent the next 25 years being with eachother off and on, we were waiting until his children were older when we could be with eachother permanently. We both wished that we had got married long before we did. In 1996 Trevor moved in with me and then we got married in Blackpool on 27th september 2001. We had a wonderful wedding just a few members of my family and friends of ours and those that went said it was a beautiful day, it was even though it rained! We had many lovely holidays and breaks and days out we always loved to be out and about and Trevor loved to go away quite spontaneously on a holiday or w/e away. Trevor bravely fought the fight of his lymphoma but sadly it got too much and he passed away on 22nd May just after midnight. About 8/9 years ago Trevor was diagnosed after a short bate of tiredness with Waldenstoms Macroglobulinemia, then about 4 year\\\'s ago it turned into non-hodgkins Lymphoma. He started with a lump on his collar bone that was removed and then it developed to his hip. He had chemotherapy and it always helped he never really had any side affects with it until this last lot of chemo. This was a particularly strong chemo (CHOP), a 6 months session. He had just had the 2nd batch of chemo and he didnt react to well with it, and had a week in hospital. He came out of hospital on the thursday and we went off to Sicily on the sunday 6th May for a week. He was so well the whole of the week. Then when we returned he was due to start the chemo again on the tuesday after having bloods taken on the monday. He was fine but then by the sunday he developed a infection and I took him in as he had a high temperature. Trevor gradually from then on took a turn for the worse and within 24 hours he was on life support. Sadly 2 mins after midnight on the tueday morning he was dead, his organs failed mainly his kidneys. He was so loved by everyone that knew him. Trevor spent 26 years working for British Aerospace in Warton, Lancashire. He went to Beach Road Primary school in Cleveleys and then on to Baines grammar school. After that he went on to St Johns College of Ripon and York where he gained degree and then left to teach in York and Birmingham. Music played a very large part in Trevs life, he loved Elvis, the beatles, all 50\\\'s and 60\\\'s music. Frank Sinatra Dire straits the Bee Gees and Keane Coldplay and enya ...many many more ...he just loved music....any type too Opera and Classical we went to see Neil Diamond and he thought he was brilliant! and we went to an opera in Manchester outside last year he loved it. Whilst at Uni he and his friend Taffy started a group The Exiles and used to do the folk scene in the area. They even came second at the ITV show Opportunity Knocks and made a record 7 Golden Daffodils, the first one beat them playing on a saw!!!...Trev was asked to join the group Hermans Hermits but being as Tracy was due to be born he declined the offer!! (the music here is the record he made...Trev is the backing harmonising like he always loved to do) Trevor loved to laugh and he had many jokes which he loved to tell, he loved the irish comedians, Billy Connolly, Jasper Carrott and many many others. I know Trevor that we had many rough times but your family were hardly supportive and we both knew that at the end of the day we had to cope alone with the loss of our Ian and many other difficulties, I genuinely believe that their indifference didnt help us and I know you would agree with me wholeheartedly with this. Trev supported Liverpool football club, Blackpool and Man City but really he would watch any good game. He played golf and was a member at Windermere golf club for about 20 years and before that at Poulton golf club, he was also captain there for a few years. He loved to play and watch snooker, loved to watch cricket, rugby and most athletics and loved the olympic games. He belonged to Ribble Golf Society and played golf monthly with the members. He was born in Little Hulton, Manchester The week before Trevor passed away we went to Sicily and we had an absolutely lovely time. The highlight being going to the top of mount Etna in the chair lift then through the snow to the farthest point...it was a magical experience and he loved it and it made him so happy. The day after we got back from our holiday Trevs chemotherapy was due again and he seemed to be doing ok, until sunday when he had stomach pains and had difficulty going to the loo. Then completly out of the blue his temperature went soaring and he went to the hospital. The last words he spoke to me \\\'ahh thats better sheila\\\' and mouthed to me that he loved me and then he blew me kisses. He then went to sleep as he had been given morphine. In the night he sadly got worse and I couldnt sleep. I rang the hospital at this stage he was in the ITU ward, wired up to oxygen and everything. Trevs kidneys failed and he didnt regain total consciousness. Most of his family were with him when he died or just before and he left this world peacefully in the knowing that we all loved him so much As long as I can dream, As long as I can think, As long I have memory... I will love you As long as I have eyes to see and ears to hear and lips to speak... I will love you. As long as I have a heart to feel, a soul stirring with in, An imagination to hold you... I will love you. As long as there is time, As long there is love, As long as I have a breath to speak your name... Because I love you more than anything... In all the world. ~ Author unknown ROTHWELL (Trevor) On May 22...Blackpool Evening Gazette ROTHWELL (Trevor) On May 22, 2007 suddenly in hospital after a long illness bravely fought.
