I do not know Tony Snow because he has not ever met me before. I have watched Tony Snow on television many times. I am so sorry to hear in the news that he died of colon cancer at Georgetown University Hospital Saturday, July 12, 2008. Tony Snow's family members and friends will miss Tony Snow now. When Tony passed away at 2:00 Saturday morning, he saddened me.

My husband and I were very saddened to hear of the passing of Tony Snow. Being Fox News watchers since 9-11, we watched Tony for years. He was such a decent, warm and knowledgeable man, one couldn't help but like him. Watching him giving those press conferences at the White House and keep from getting ruffled made me proud. Our hearts go out to Mrs. Snow and the children. Our Priest told us to keep them in our prayers and we will. God bless them all.

I never met Tony but feel a connection to his life and a desire to express to his family and friends how much America gained from God's gifts through one man who cared. I pray that his memory will encourage people like my college age daughter that journalism can be an honorable profession when inbodied in people like Tony Snow. You know his smile has brightened even the heavens and made our anticipated arrival there all the more inviting and less fearful in the transition. David White Houston, Texas

I never met Tony Snow in person, but like so many people who shared their thoughts here, I also felt like he was family, like I knew him in person. I wept when I heard the news like I would weep for a dear friend or family member. I used to listen to his radio show, then watched him doing the Press Briefings, which must be such a hard job and he did it so very well. I loved it when he would fill in on Bill O'Reilly's radio show. He was my favorite guest host. He was inspiring to listen to. You could tell, he was a decent, honest, kind man, very smart. You have to look hard to find people like him, a true model, whose faith and courage are worth imitating. We love you, Tony! Now you are free from pain, enjoying God's presence forever. You get to see with your own eyes the things you believed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family! What a happy reunion it will be one day! Unitl then, lots of love and the deepest respect from Bridget, El Paso, Texas

My husband and I have been enamored by Tony for years finding his communication style compassionate and sincere. Last April 28th, we drove 5 hours to L.A. to see him in person (for our first and only time!) when he debated Bill Maher. My husband was sick with intestinal flu and miserable, so we had to stop several times on the way which made us late...but now we are SO grateful we decided to do that. He was wonderful. At times we were the only ones cheering Tony's answers in a room full of liberally-inclined people. Tony was so gracious, so articulate, and so respectful to the audience, he won over most of the audience despite his opposing politial views. He was amazing to watch because he is such a genuinely warm person, his charm was disarming. He set an example of how to live life that the rest of us can aspire to...what a rich and meaningful life!

I never met Tony Snow but I felt like I knew him for years. I first heard him sitting in for Rush and found him so engaging, smart and witty. I loved Tony Snow on Fox News Sunday and was really sad to see him leave Fox, but he did a fine job in the White House and he was a true patriot. My deepest sympathy goes out to Mrs. Snow and their three children. Tony Snow was a beautiful man and there is no doubt in my mind he is with God. I will miss him very much.

I began to listen to Tony Snow when he was subbing for Rush. I loved him from the first time I heard him. He was so down to earth and yet so obviously intelligent, full of knowledge of so many things and a musician as well. And how he loved to talk about his family. I followed him onto FOX and then to FOX Radio and the White House. I got to see him speak in person once and he was just so affable and normal. I have been grieving all weekend long. May Tony now be resting in the arms of His Saviour and God please take care of his family for him. Linda in Chesapekae

I first started watching Mr Snow after 9/11 when I started watching FOX news. Than watched him every time he was on TV. I had known instinctively that he was one of Gods' special people. Andrew Card said" Tony did nice things even when he thought no one was watching and he was nice when he didn't have to be." What more could be said about a person? He was the best. Condolences to His wife and children. I am broken hearted!

I never changed the channel when Tony was on TV. I loved how he spoke with passion, humor & integrity. The way he handled the WH press was truly astonishing!! In a very very respectful manner I will say that he was also "eye candy". God bless you America's prince.

My father, Charles Snow, died of colon cancer 14 years ago. Tony brings honor to the Snow name. Thank-you for being a shining example of how The Lord wants us to live our lives. May Jill and their children find peace and comfort in knowing that Tony is experiencing a joy that we cannot yet imagine in our earthly lives. And someday, they too will experience this joy with Tony and with Our Heavenly Father. Our Prayers Are With You. God Bless You and Keep You.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Snow and his family in November of 2004. It was about a week or so after the election. He and his family often visited a store I worked at part-time and I would often see them. One evening, breaking all of the rules on customer harassment, I went up to Tony and began speaking with him. We ended up spending almost an hour together. We talked about politics, of course, but also about personal things as well. I was struck by this man's humanity and his humility. What an honor that was. He introduced his wife and three children to me. I even had the chance to help each of them track down some items that they were interested in purchasing. Three very smart and very beautiful kids. The oldest one wasn't a teenager yet. What a wonderful family! I asked Tony if he wouldn't mind talking to my father as well. He was fine with it. I picked up the phone, called my dad, and he could not believe I had Tony Snow right here beside me. They talked for a few minutes. He ended the call by wishing my mom and dad a happy Thanksgiving. I have never forgotten this. When the news came that his cancer had come back, I was deeply saddened. And now his passing early Saturday morning. I am thinking of Jill and the children. He never got to bounce his grandchildren on his knee, as he promised them he would. But I hope the fact that they will see him again someday - and that the One he is now with is watching over them - gives them a peace in their hearts.

Tony Snow was a remarkable individual! Smart, honest, and full of the joy of life. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to watch him on television and during his time serving the President. He was a wonderful example of a man who was firm in his convictions, but without the rancor that we see so much of these days. God bless him! And God bless his family!

I never knew Tony Snow, but I knew he was a good person. You can always tell someone who is decent. What a loss for your family and the world. A great father, husband and American who I will miss. His smile, the twinkle in his eye and his honesty are rare qualities in such a jaded world. The courage he exhibited will remain with me and my hope for his family is peace and comfort. God bless you and your family and my prayers to you for your loss.

While representing Aflac in Washington, D.C.it was my privilege to meet Tony Snow and to admire his ability and diligence toward his responsibilities. A most admirable personality, and we regret the loss of this talented man -- for his work with the Administration as well as his loss to his family whom he so dearly loved. We have lost a great friend and Republican colleague. Our sincere sympathy his family.

We live in a world where so many young people look up to and emulate "celebrities". What a wonderful world it would be if young and old alike decide to look up to and emulate Tony Snow. Tony, my Mom passed from Colon and Rectal Cancer with the grace and dignity just as you did...never complaining; keeping the faith and living life to the fullest until very end of life as we know it here on earth. I am vigilant when it comes to this dreadful disease just as your were. That we had in common. What we didn't have in common was that I always felt it (the cancer) was lurking - it hung over my head and I was waiting for it. While doing so I wasted precious moments in time. That was until I witnessed you and your actions while faced with the same disease. You have set an example for me to follow. You have given me peace. And for that I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You, Jill and your children are in my heart and prayers forever. As is your Mother. My condolences to your family, friends, co-workers and all of your extended family - the people who loved you from afar. The world is a better place because of you. God bless your soul, Tony!

My friends and I met Tony Snow at a rally for Senator Mike DeWine of Ohio in 2006. He was very gracious and allowed us to chat with him and take a photo with him, which I added to the album just now. I am greatly saddened by his untimely death, and pray comfort and peace for his dear family.

Tony was a brillant, kind, witty man. I hope we have all learned from his life--too bad he was too normal that his role in politics was important--I would have voted for him had he run for President. His role model should reflect more people. Tony was a truely sinicere person by example. I mourn his loss for his family as I morn for my mom.

Jill, my husband died 5/6/7 after a 6 year battle with colon cancer. He was a physician and loved us dearly, (me and our three sons). Just know that you are a strong, amazing person to have been the wife of a very special man. I know our husbands fought the courageous fight for their love of God and Family. Stay safe and protected by his love for you and your children. You now have the most powerful of all angels protecting you with his love. Rebecca H.

I first heard Tony when he filled in for Rush, and I was hooked. I looked him up on FNS, then his radio show. Here was a man who delivered an unabashed conservative message with intelligence, clarity, style, and wit. Stories told by his colleagues on FNS this AM made it clear that he deeply cared about his family, his God, his friends, his country, and all of us, his audience. Me, I'll remember the way he said "That's just nuts!" forever. Ronald Reagan, Bill Buckley, and Charleton Heston now have a worthy 4th for cards.

What an incredible man! His faith in our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ, his love for his family, our country and his friends, leaves us all to be thinking about how we live our lives. He was such a joy to watch on TV. Loved his infectious smile, loved watching him on Fox and especially loved watching his quickness in putting the media in their place. We need to keep his wife and kids in our prayers. I know I'll see Tony again. Our lives were richly blessed with a truly delightful human being for 53 years. Thank you God for Tony Snow!

What a guy! Tony was very brave to step into the line of fire for a very unpopular President in a time of war. He was perhaps the best Pres-Secretary any President ever had. He handled those sharks in the Media with relative ease. At least he made it look that way. He stood up for the President, and America. The world was a little better with him around, and there was much work left to do. Let all conservitives come together and finish the job. Thank You Tony for the example you left us, and the memory of your wonderfull smile.
