This one came to me this morning when I was doing my hair. When I was a little girl, my dad took me on one of his business trips to Tennesse. My mom would curl my hair all the time, so when he took me out to eat that night my Dad filled in for her on this particular occasion. To everyone's surprise he did a good job, and his friends busted his chops later about it. I will never forget my father holding a curling iron

Mr. Leaver was hilarious. I remember one time he was driving Beth and me to Games People Play, and the parking lot was packed full, except for one spot that is. He saw that there was a guy already going for it, so what did he do, he gunned it with all he could and cut the other guy off... classic! I never thought that big old Caprice could go that fast. And of course, as Beth has already mentioned, I'll never forget the "helpful advice" he would give the refs at the soccer games. All of us on the team thought he was so awesome... what a cool dad to stand up to those lousy refs. -Andrea

I have the most fondf memories of Ted being an entertainer. I have known Beth since the age of four, when I used to spend the night over, he would purpose rent scary movies just to see me laugh or get riled up. He was such a comedian...he really brought o ut the sunny side in everybody. I always knew I was in for a good time when I was at the Leaver house. Michelle Adopted daughter

Grandpa and I shared our birthday. For the last 22 years I would call and wish him a happy birthday and he would say "but its your birthday". We didnt talk often, but every June 25th we would talk much. 10 days after he moved on to open skies was our Birthday. I still wished him a happy birthday. A little known fact about him is, He predicted that I would be born on his birthday. There my mom was, overdue with me, and giving birth to me on His birthday. -Eric Clarke, grandson

I will never forget at my soccer games having the loudest parent on the sideline. My dad would sit on the sideline, smoking his cigar and wearing his bifocals glasses yell at the referee, "Ref, do you need my glasses." It always got some laughs.
