My darling , beloved Aunt. devoted Godmother, confidante and inspiration. You taught me so much as a child and as an adult I continued to listen to your advice. We shared our Christian faith, our values, our lessons from life. Sometimes you were my shining light of hope in the darkness. I shall miss our long chats so very much. You and Milly , your eldest sister and my mother, were so alike in many ways including a very dry and witty sense of humour and fun. I will love you always and know we will be united once more along with the family that have gone before. To Uncle Leslie, Monica, David , Julian and their families we send our very deepest condolences and grieve with you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. From Sandra, Brian Johnathan, James, Lee and their families.

Sybil was not only my aunt but my friend as well. We grew up in Cape Town and did lots of things together, remembering especially our attendance at the badminton club in the hall of St. George’s Cathedral once a week in the evening. I looked forward to her annual ‘news’ letter at Christmas time –and through her, was kept up to date with the family. So sad that this lovely person is no more with us, but memories of her will last forever. Our heartfelt sympathies are with Leslie, David, Monica and Julian and their families. From her eldest niece in U.K. Veronica, Keith and family.
