Did not have a chance to know Sgt. Liczbinski but as a person who has many police officers as family, friends and acquaintances, wanted to extend my prayers and condolences to his family.

I LIVE IN PORT RICHMOND AND I AM 1 BLOCK FROM ALMOND AND SHILLER ST AND EVERYDAY ME AND MY CHILDREN WOULD GO TO HIS MEMORIAL TO PUT FLOWERS AND CANDLES. ITS JUST SO SAD. THE WHOLE CITY IS IN MORNING,NOT ONLY FOR HIM BUT ALL THE OFFICERS WHO LAY THIER LIVES ON THE LINE EVERY DAY.THESE INDIVIDUALS WHO COMMIT CRIMES ON POLICE OFFICERS AROUND THE WORLD SHOULD NEVER BE LEFT ON THE STREETS.THEY SHOULDNT EVEN HAVE THE CHANCE FOR BAIL,ARRAINGMENT,NOTHING.THEY SHOULD BE PUT AWAY FOREVER.

I have the upmost respect for Sgt. Liczbinski for laying down his life for us. As a sister of a sgt. and a detective I'm fully aware of what officers face each and every day. God bless him and his family in this time of despair. The following is a reading I take comfort in when someone passes on...
