Shannon has had many pictures taken of him. In most of them he appears serious, thoughtful. Every picture we have of him holding a fish he caught captures this HUGE SMILE. He loved to fish almost as much as making music. He took my boys fishing on occassion and they had the best time. We used to go fishing with Papa, Mama, Mom, Dad & Uncle Bill. While I sunned myself on the front of the boat Shannon fished away. Papa went to be with the Lord about 15 years ago & when Shannon followed it was so nice to think of the two of them sitting in a john boat, baiting hooks & reeling in fishes of gold! So now when I think of Shan not being here I think I'll just picture a sign saying "Gone Fishin'". I love you Shampoo, more than all the fish in the sea! You were the best brother ever & a great uncle. You are missed but I'm so glad to know you're happy & well. Love, Susta

Shannon was a hugger. He always (even when he was a child) hugged everyone. He never stopped doing this. People come up to me and say how much they loved him for this. He made them feel special.
