Richard Wright was one of the truly brilliant keyboard players of his time. The pleasure he gave us together with the Misters Gilmore and Waters will live on forever. We have plenty of memories on DVD so he will never be forgotten, that smile was beautiful. May God bless the family and friends, we know that Pink Floyd will miss him SO much. All our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew him and loved him whether it was personally or through his music. Rest in peace from a middle aged couple growing old disgracefully x

Rick is airing out the house for the jam session to come... I felt like I had lost a personal friend when hearing of Rick's passing, but I promise to remember in thought word and deed the beauty his life brought - the music and the love will live forever.

RIck will stay forever in my hearth, because with him is gone a part of my life. The Pink Floyd music is part of my life and he was a fondamental piece of the Floyd. When a friend told me about his death, it was like as was dead a member of my family. Thank you Rick, I hope you're playin' with Syd now. God bless you

Richard Wright was and still is a part of my life even though i've never met him for the music he helped to create. I first heard Floyd properly when DSOTM came out in 1972/73. I became an avid fan, i'm 52 now and my collection of Flyd LP's includes some 35 DSOTM albums of various colours, place of manufacture etc. Pink Floyd have been with me and will remain so. My son has taken an interest and will inherit my Floyd collection of some 60 LP's currently and some other memorabilia so i'm sort of passing on the baton and for me Rick Wright has a kind of life after death. It's all about the music man and what it does to you, how it makes you feel and even helps make you who you are. Man he'll be missed by so many in so many ways. Rest easy man, rest easy.

great stuff, man. only Floydians know the deep sadness that we feel now. my son ,too, has become a fan. i love it when he plays floyd music on his guitar. its the best tribute i can pay my fave group, to offer my son as another lifetime floyd fan. your collection sounds like a great one ! i unfortunately lost my lps some years ago. my collection is now on cd,with a few lps i managed to get. still love vinyl ! i got some interesting bootlegs on cd and dvd.

I first saw the Pink Floyd in 1971 in Philedelphia Pa.David Gilmore started the set with "Fat Old Sun". Live Richard Wright live was a very suttle player that always understated rather than overstated his musical parts in what ever music he played. His simple open way of playing has always haunted me. The sheer beauty and simplicity of his playing is astonishing. To me the most memorable music he ever played was the stunningly beautiful pastoral organ lines in the Live version of Astromnie Dominae on the Ummagumma Album. It just doesn't get any better than that.Rest In Peace Love Craig

I first saw Pink Floyd live in 66' and been a fan ever since and Ricky was a huge part in the Floyd sound, something that has never been eclipsed. My favourite track on Division Bell is Ricky's "Wearing the inside out" . Our loss is heavens gain, another great musician to join that Great Gig in the Sky. My condolences also go out to his family, friends and David & Nick of course. You will be sadly missed by millions.

I am stunned and deeply saddened by Rick's passing. The music of Pink Floyd has been permanently woven into the fabric of my life and will continue to be so. His contribution to the band's spacey sound was enormous. Pink Floyd is truly a band that is greater than the sum of its parts and it will never be the same without Rick in the mix. I send my sincere condolences to his family and I hope they take comfort in knowing how much Rick was cherished by millions of fans. On another astral plane far far away, perhaps on the dark side of the moon, Rick is playing the greatest gig in the sky...
