One of the fondest memories of you Uncle Reg is your love of salt. Uncle Reg you are the only person I know who could suffocate a gorgeous looking tomato with salt.. however you did enjoy it and that's the main thing..(everytime I pick up a tomato I always think of you:) It only seems like yesterday and it is more or less a year ago when we were organising the trip to the Melbourne Cup with Dad (Bill). I think the highlight of the trip for you Uncle Reg besides the company was that you were a winner!!! you actually won at the Melbourne Cup on Corey Brown!!!(Bills grandson) .You were so chuffed-pity Dad(Bill) didn't follow your betting style! I do know Dad will forever treasures the trips you and he had together and there were quite a few. Uncle Reg we will also miss your visits to Bonnells Bay. But most of all, we will miss you. Rest in peace. Lots of love Julie, Ken, Joshua & Corey xxxx

I am very thankful to Reg for being dad to my loving, caring and generous husband Steve and Pa to our wonderful children. He always loved coming over and never missed saying what a wonderful time he had and a lovely meal. Reg was a great support for Steve and I with picking the girls up from school when they were younger. He was well known at school by the other parents and grandparents as Pa. Reg was also our handyman for many years and found joy in fixing things around our house. Thanks for everything Reg, I miss you but we will not forget you and all the great things you did for us. Love Michelle

Liked talking about everything " Cars", his only fault was he followed Souths. sorry Reg, I know you'll be laughing. From the " Old School" , work hard and get ahead. This country needs more Reg Maxwells. Well played, good innings, I applaud you as you leave the arena. Your Mate Ian .

Liked talking about cars and football. About his only vice was supporting Souths, Sorry Reg, I know you'll be laughing wherever you are. Loved his family and grandkids. From the old school, "work hard and get ahead" and would never ever do anyone a bad turn. We need more people like Reg Maxwell. Rest eternally from your labours, well played mate. Your Friend Ian
