The day I saw your story on the news, I stormed into my room and cried for days and just hugged my little girl who was turning 1 on the 16th of August. Nia, how your story has affected me. The tears that still flow for you. I growl at my children sometimes and feel sooooo guilty and sad inside. And I wonder how any 1 person can live with themselves ... what you had endured in your short life. I have a 6 year old (the age you would be now) and I have a 3 year old (the age you were when you left your horrible earthly existence). O, the feeling of rage! Dear sweet Nia. How scared you must have been, how your heart must have raced with fear, how you must have screamed... and how heart-breakingly sad it is that no one heard. People who should have been your protector, who should have loved you unconditionally abused your little body simply because they could. The only solace I get out of this is that those same people will feel all your mamae on their judgement day. Nia definitely deserved a far better life and opportunity to become who she would've become. "Have fun playing with the angels..." This is absolutely incredible! If there were angels, why did they allow this child to live a short life of complete and utter horror? Who would want to worship the kind of god who would allow this to be done to a baby? Nia isn't playing with the angels. Her body is rotting in a grave and the people who did it to her will now be taken care of for the rest of their lives. No food worries. No housing worries. No medical worries. I did'nt know this little girl, I can not believe human beings are capable of treating a baby this way, I am a mother myself and when I pick my daughter up and hold her I could never imagine inflicting any pain or suffering on her, how can we as humans let this happen?
