I did not know Molly for a long time or very well, but she always made me feel like an old friend and had time to chat. A wealth of knowledge and a gracious lady. A large loss to the ASG. Molly will always be remembered but never forgotten. Now at peace.

I met first Mollie in 1972 when she was teaching at Kuringai High and I at Pittwater High. We had both taken students to a Cavalcade of Costume show at Paddington Town Hall. Mollie knew Ena Hall with whom I was working. By the time I had completed a conversation with Mollie, all my students had disappeared into Paddington and took some time to retrieve. In more recent times, we shared a room at Home Economics Conferences and travelled to Kangaroo Island together before the Adelaide ASG Convention. A perfectionist with the needle and always interested in cultural activities, Mollie now rests in peace.

I first met Mollie when I joined the Australian Sewing Guild. She was a dynamic person with a lot of get up and go. She worked hard to further the Guild in any way she could. She also encouraged me to enter my sewing in the Sydney Easter Show, which gave me more confidence and a determination to sew my very best, always. Mollie will be greatly missed by all her friends and remembered with great affection. Susan Cole.
