I never met the great man, but I listen to his music non stop. He is the greatest creator of dub music that I have ever come across. I hope him and Bob Marley are collaborating up in heaven on some killer tracks.

MAY THE LIGHT ALWAYS SHINE ON A GREAT ARTIST LIKE MIKEY. I FOR ONE HERE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM WITH HIS GREAT REGGAE SOUNDS. SADLY MISSED
6 years, 9 months
We at Domino Room in Bend Oregon will always remember Mikey Dread and we miss him. Mikey had a great Spirit that he always brought with him and shared with all who listened. My favorite memory of MIkey, is when we were going through contract negotiations he would call me on the telephone & he would leave me a telephone message saying "Rhoda, come to the phone, I need to talk to you", I would email him and say, I won't talk to you on the phone until we complete the contract, as he was too persuasive to talk to in person! We love you MIkey and miss your earthly presence, but you live on as a part of us and this world, you made your mark...
remember you on the 16 ton road with joe and the boys. you gave many of us the gift of reggae and will be missed. B Box
