im just a hockey fan that came across this memorial... god bless u and family..Jim Dinsmore
sad sad news I know it has been 1 year since the windsor spitfires lost their friend and player mickey renaud i feel sorry for his parents i know his played in the nhl his dad was mark renaud.
i remember your smile, your laugh and your big bear hugs. i miss you so much, you meant the world to me, you helped me through my problems. i went to EVERY game you played, and i miss that. i cant watch a whole spits game anymore, because its not the same without you playing. im never going to forget you. ill always love you mickey, Always In Our Hearts. Rest In Peace.
this young man`s death was a big loss to the hockey world I remeber 1 year ago reading the news paper seeing mickey renaud`s name in the news paper i remeber it saying spitfires capation mickey renaud has died but it did not say how this young man had died
rip to mickey renaud it is not easy to lose somebody like that it is hard to let go of somebody like it is not easy to see somebody go like that believe I had to go through the death of my grand parent and it was not easy believe me it was not easy at all to get over the sudden death of somebody
a young hockey star who died so young at the age of 19 years old his heart was not good at all he has been dead for only 1 year it is hard to see some one go like this when you are a family member it is hard to see another family member go it is so hard to say good bye to loved ones that touched your heart very well
a young hockey great who died when he was only 19 years old draft pick of the flames he had no chance of surive this heart problem I was shocked when I heard mickey had died it was a shocking story and a shock to the world of hockey.
he played hocket for the windsor spitfires and he was drafted by the flames butt he did not get to play nhl hockey he never became a proffessinal hockey player at all.
I feel bad this makes me a little sad cause I do not have any grandparents my gandma and grandpa died when I was just a little kid.
R.I.P Mickey, you will always be remembered. An amazing hockey player, an outstanding individual, and a even a hero to some. <3
To me Mickey was more than a friend. A kid who defined what a leader really is. Mickey because of you I wear number 18, but now that you are gone, in your honour,I will hang up number 18. I will lissyou Mickey.

Your soft blonde hair would shine so bright Like the many stars in the sky each night. Your pale hazel eyes were warm and kind; Their twinkle will remain in everyone's mind. Your smile will always be missed; Your full red lips are now heaven-kissed. We will remember your friendship, love and joy, As well as your company that we all did enjoy. Your life, though short, was filled with glee; We are now asking, "How can this be"? We know now that you will be alright Because God is blessing you with eternal light. You are our Spitfire angel for all time to come, The rest of our natural days and then some. Your time here on Earth was such a blessing And your memory helps us in our convalescing. We know that you are here with us today And you want us all to know that you're okay. We love you and we miss you and wherever we go, We will never forget our beloved Mickey Renaud. IN LOVING MEMORY OF MICKEY ~ OCTOBER 5, 1988--FEBRUARY 18, 2008 *************************************************************************************** It's so weird... I saw him only less than a month before he passed away. I wanted to get a picture of him autographed and I also wanted to get a picture with him because this year was his last in the OHL. I had the pleasure of meeting him once and he was so nice, always with a big smile on his face. In honour of him, as well as Luc Bourdon who died in a motorcycle accident on May 29th, I wear a double bracelet on my left wrist with a black ribbon on it. The one on the top says "RIP MICKEY RENAUD". I would like to get one of the 18 decals that the OHL players wear on the backs of their helmets. RIP Mickey <3
