I didn't know Mike but came across this memorial page whilst doin an internet search. My brother died in similar circumstances in Goa, India Jan 2006 he was found dead in bed by his friends he was travelling with we were told he had pulmonary and cerebral oedema,18 months later we got the toxicology results etc and were told he had died from Organophospate Insecticide Poisoning but have never been able to find out anything further. The constant wondering what happened is very hard to deal with. My thoughts are with family and friends of Mike. katherinenina@aol.com

Dear Mike. I was having a chat with your mam and dad the other day. They are such special people my friend. I was over in manchester a few weeks back. And with col and steve's blessing, they gave to me a ring which belonged to you. I will always treasure it mike, it was difficult to face your mam and dad at first, because in have known them both for over 25 years and it was the first time, since your passing. We shared some memories about you, i do hope that it helped them in some way. I was chattin and having a few beers with your col and rach aswell, you were with us all in spirit, i was at time day dreaming about some of the things we got up to as kids, do you remember what we were like,, happy day's eh. it is wonderful for me to have a possession of your's for keep sakes, because we all like to keep hold of a little piece of our childhoods, you played a big part in mine, i just wish that we could have seen more of each other in adulthood. I will always stay in touch with your family, they are a strong unit as you well know mike. Im hoping that colin and rach can come down to where i now live in cornwall this summer, it will be great to see them. Mike my friend forever in my thoughts, Best wishes steve and family x

In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still, In our hearts you hold a place, No one can ever fill. Some may think you are forgotten, Though on earth you are no more, But in our memory you are with us, As you always were before. Your precious memories are for keepsakes, with which we never part, God has you safely in his keeping, But we have you forever in our hearts One year since you went away dear friend, thinking of you and all the family. I was 3000 miles from home in Thailand the other day m8 and from outta nowhere thoughts of you came to me, even more so I went online and there was your Col n Mezo, LOL who were also remembering you at exactly the same moment, you still never cease to amaze me dear friend! xxxx We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.. Remembering you always, forgetting you never, all our love Amanda, Ryan and Ellis. xxx

Harvs you're still on our minds and in our hearts. All the best to the Harvey clan, stay strong at this sad time when you want more than ever for him to be around. I saw Ste the other day and wanted to tell him this but the time didn't seem right and the words didn't come out. Sorry for that Ste, but remember: if you need anything, let me know. Hope 2009 is better for you all. Take care, Tony X

Me, Rach,Mum,Dad,Julia, Ste,Adele, an the kids had christmas dinner together, Not the same without you here Mike.I went to the cemetry this morning to lay a reef at grandad's and your headstone. Reading your name on it feels so unreal.Hits home hard that you've gone, an we aint gonna see are Mike again an that aint fair. My heart still weighs very heavy with the loss of you bruv.I miss you terribly, we all do.I'm constantly searching for reasons why your not here, an i can't find them. i'm at a loss. All we have are your photos to remind us of you ,an i really enjoy looking through those.I'd love to have one last round of golf with you an then share a few beers after in the clubhouse, all i got though are the memories, that i will keep forever, i'm so proud to of had an been able to call you my brother. MIKE, How very much you`re missed isn`t easy to explain for words never could convey the sadness and the pain. Although gone now from this life you`ve left memories to treasure that are the sweetest kind and will softly stay forever. At christmastime especially you`re missed throughout each day and all those lovely memories are with us, here to stay. Mike love & miss you always & forever, Sarah, Mark, & Niamh xxx

Mike, Me,Ste an Mum an the grandkids was watching Dad open his cards an birthday presents yesterday morning. Dad's 60th. Somehow it didnt seem right cos you wasnt here. The 4 of us all had a cry. We knew you was with us in spirit. Your so sadly missed its to difficult to describe the pain we all feel.Life doesnt seem fair at times. When is it going to start to get easier?? I think of you everyday, an i miss you so much, often wonder what happened in your last day, even hrs. Wonder if you was alone, or in pain. Still can't believe most of your belongings, clothes, rings your journal an rolls of film never got returned to us from that hole they call India. I love reading all these tributes people have left on here, it some how helps me. I hope you shared a few pints with Kev what a blow that was. An now syd. look after them MIke an yourself. I hope you saved your best canvas piece for last an that one day you will show it to me. Love and miss you so much. I'd do anything to bring you back. your heartbroken bruv
