I know we'll see each other again but, until that day, I will miss your beautiful smile and laugh. I will cherish my memories of you and our time together on earth. Until we meet again... I love you and miss you so much, Your Cuckoo Bird

Nana, I wanted you to know that I wans't able to email the photos because the email was not going through! I have added many more photos of granny on the page I made for her memorial being that I wasn't able to add the photos to your page! I tryed but it didn't work which is the reason I started another page to put her photos there! Please ask friends and family to visit the other page to see more photos of Beautiful Granny Bird! She was so happy in all the photos! She will be missed but then again she lives inside our hearts! love ya, Eva

Hi Nana--this is a great tribute to your grandmother. It's wonderful that you had and have such warm and supportive relationships with both your grandmothers. I never knew any of my grandparents, so consider yourself very fortunate to have had such great wealth. All the best, Shirley

Thanks Jefita for all your love, support, help, and all the things that made you the best Jefita in the world. As I look back in your life and as we grew old together, if you were here today, I would congredulate you for being a great friend, and a loving Jefa and I would tell you that I am proud to be your son.. Thank you Jefita for your music as I remember you singing and playing the guitar and taking me the El Colon Theater in El Paso where I first heard and saw the harp. Your music and your life had a great effect in my life. Again thanks. Luv always, Vernon

Maria Bustamante Robinson aka Mary "Granny Bird" Robinson. Given the name Granny Bird back in 1968 after the song "Polk Salad Annie, she got you granny". My mom could fry up the best fried chicken in the world. Perhaps that being the reason why Bird was added to Granny. Her memory will live in my heart forever. Love and Forgiveness is what Mom was all about. May we ALL strive to keep her candle burning within our hearts. Mom you are not gone, you are merely resting where we will all see you again, in eternity. Love, till we see each other again your daughter, Eva Juanita Robinson

Gran never felt like she missed out on anything. Being broke never bothered her, she had the love of the family, and thats all that mattered. She was proud of all of us, and quickly forgave us for our shortcomings, making us feel like we could do no wrong. Accepting and forgiving, that was Gran. Born to talk, with a sense of humor and wit that wouldn't quit, she always made friends wherever she went. And boy could she EAT! You're the best Gran, love always, nana

Nana, this web page in honor of granny is beautiful! You did an awesome job on it and the pictures are really wonderful too! Thank you so much for thinking of doing this for her and for all of us as well! We will visit her here often, as she remains to live on, in all of our hearts! Lots of love to you always, Eva your aunt
