To Dianne, Michael, family and friends, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. My partner Frank and I met Marie in August 2010 through Mrs Margaret Bailey, the lady who shared her room at Netherby Nursing Home Wahroonga. We would visit them often, with Augustus the black cocker spaniel and a box of Lindt balls for each in tow. Auggie was always lifted up for "bed" cuddles with Marie. Our last visit was on Saturday 29th January 2011. Marie was such a kind, warm and loving lady who would help Margaret, who had limited sight, with the crosswords. They would chat for hours like two naughty school girls! We are unable to join you for Marie's funeral service on Thursday, however will make a donation to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation in Marie's memory. The room at Netherby will be so empty without Marie's smiling face. I know that Mrs Margaret Bailey will miss her terribly. Love Katie, Frank, Auggie, Blondie and Miss Kissy
