Dear Lisa we had such fun times but the memory that you leave on me is your wide cheeky smile and infectious fun and zest for life... we caught up a few times when we bumped into each other and last enjoyed a chat over lunch only months before your death... I never thought it to be the last... Lisa...always someone to speak her mind you are missed by more than you will know...

I still remember the first time i meet Lisa we were no older than 19,we both loved rock n roll loved the music and to dance.Lisa loved my FC Holden, it all matched here clothes and who she wanted to be.We spent some wonderfull times toghether, a time that was inocent and loving.Lisa and i lost touch for 20 years and until i decided i wanted to find her to see how life was for her.We met at the hat shop and it was amazing i always cared for her when we were kids and that all came back in that first meet.We had a second chance to get to know each other again, and again we had some wonderfull times. My Dear Lisa you were there for me when i lost Tina to black Saturday,i recoverd slowely and then went looking for my childhood sweethart,i realised when i looked into you eyes how much i loved you,i struggled to keep up with you in life and i only wish i could have tried harder to understand,i continue to be shatterd by your passing and know to well the meaning of for ever.I will always love you Lisa and hold you close to my heart. Until we meet again princess xxx

Every so often throughout the years I wondered what had happened to Lisa, as I last saw her in 1983 when I left the Victorian College of the Arts. I tried googling her, so was extremely saddened that this time my efforts were successful, but with the very thing I least wanted to know. Lisa was such a good friend at ballet school. We were both heavily teased for our accents and sticking together kept each other sane. I still think of her lovely family, as I had great sleepovers at her place and even helped Susan run a ballet class once. (great fun) When I last looked at some pictures in the Victorian College of the Arts archives, I am sure one of the dancers shown in the picture is Lisa. I loved the fact that when she danced she was so light and quick. It is so hard to think that she is not twirling around somewhere. (but no doubt she is) Lisa's brother Tim was always delightful and he was one of the people I have met in life that gave me a good impression of people called Tim. Therefore, I have a ten year old son called Tim!!! Lisa thank you for being there from 1981 to 1983 and I am so sorry that I didn't get to find you again. If Massey ever wants to meet Tim and chat about Lisa when she was 12 / 13 years old, we live in Melbourne. Just google me please. Lots of Love Anna-Louise Brown (nee Parkin)

Lisa taught me the art of men's hats. She taught me that the most important things are the parts you can't see and even if overall, the foxglove stitch is a pain to do, it's still lovely and it's what separates something good from some extraordinary. Lisa was a crazy cat and she taught me to see and appreciate the tiniest tings and to never let go of history. Massey is her legacy and no one including Lisa could ever be prouder of him. Keep rockin Lisa.

I had the previlage of meeting Lisa we I was being taught ballet by her marvelous mother Susan. Lisa had the bright sprit of her mother and the humor of her father Charles. She made lightless of all things big and small. I last saw Lisa the day of Massey's naming day in Canterbury. And although i haven't seen her or her wonderful family since, they have all stayed in my heart and thoughts and always will. I send all my Love and best wishes to Susan, Charles, Timeothy, and beautiful Massey. xoxo I know Lisa will be watching over you all Georgina

It was only 3 weeks ago when I last met up with Lisa, besides her repeated, and completely justified I might add, talking about what an amazing little man Massey has become (I had no reason not to believe her, particulary based on the night at Cheers when she left him in our care and, after alot of convincing/ pressuring, he stole $20 out of Mum's purse! He then proceeded to try to pay for Mum's drinks until about half an hour later when he walked up to Mum, handed over the $20 note, pointed at me and informed Lisa that " They made me do it") We did too, lol. But what I was getting at was that she just loved people, loved life, but most of all she loved Massey. And the world has been a little more dull since she passed. RIP Lisa xoxoxo

You were 6 when you and the rest of your family left Sheffield, England and the next time we saw each other a very youthful 40 with a wonderful 9 year old son, Massey. The badge we had made with " Yorkshire Lass " on it for your Parka coat, theevenings in one of your regular haunts the "sherlock holmes" great beer but in your case " champagne" . We loved your fashion sense and style and most of all your individuality so tonight we will be celebrating your life in the only way we know that you would appreciate by cracking open the " Champers " Love Uncle Trev and Auntie Jan XX

i met lisa five years ago when i first arrived in australia, she took me under her wing ,when i did not know any one over here, she was a beautiful unique indiviual, with her rock mod style, she was caring sensitive intelligent funny, always dependable, her great passions were her scooter club, her family, that supported her in every thing she done , her love of life , but most of all her love for her son massey, she has left a large hole in my heart, that cant be filled, she is sadly missed but never forgotten

I first met Lisa when my daughter Leala went to kinder with Massey. Her passion for the Arts was always evident encouraging Massey in the love of music, writing and art. I admired Lisa for not being frightened to be who she was and for encouraging Massey to be the same. Her spirit is strong so I know she will be watching over Massey wearing her best hat and smile.
