Kevin welcomed me into the family with generosity and kindness. On my very first Mother's Day last year, Kevin drove all the way over to our home first thing in the morning with a card and gift. I was very touched. He also introduced me to fishing, giving me my own rod and taking me out on his boat. He went to great lengths to take me out on the boat and teach me to fish. I have fond memories of being out on the water with Kevin, which were a great laugh. He was a great grandpa who delighted in little Emily, and I wish they could have had more time together.
