We had the luck and privilege to live next door to Ken and Mary in Croydon. We had recently moved from the Hunter Valley with our 6 month old son Ryan and slowly a friendship grew. Ken was a very engaging, kind hearted man who had a steadying influence on Ryan as he grew up. Ryan would wander over next door and Ken would make him a milk shake - it was great to see! From the birth of our second son Aidan till we left Sydney to move to Adelaide we were so lucky to have friends like Ken and Mary - such a shock today to find out that Ken had past - he will be sorely missed by us and our boys - we wish Mary and family much love and hugs and we pray for Ken and know that he is enjoying the cricket in Heaven (where the Aussies always win!) love Matt, Rach, Ryan and Aidan
