If you are the Keith Maupin with whom I served as a US Army recruit in 1955 (Fort Jackson SC and Fort Harrison IN), I would be privileged to hear from you.

God Bless this young man who is now in heaven, and his family who is left behind to deal with the tremendous loss. Whenever your child dies, it is a tragedy to the family. When it is caused by WAR, it is even harder to comprehend. Rest in peace, soldier.

May you accept my prayers for your family in this hard time. Know your loss is felt by many and a True Hero is lost to this world. May God know what he has recieved in this young man. May your time towards acceptance be short and your memories bring you joy.

We only heard about hero Keith, on our local news. But we posted a POW sticker on our soldier son's vehicle, that is parked in our yard, in honor of Keith's guardianship of freedom, and his will to never accept defeat. A true Soldier. You're also a true legend, Keith, and we are so very proud you served on the American team. Thank You American Soldier, and God Bless.
