I know that Aunty Kyi Kyi will be at a better place. However, I will miss her and remember her till I die. She is the only one who truly wanted to know how my life was going on whenever I shared the news about my family members. By example, she taught be how to grow old and what kind of attitude one should have toward sicknesses. She used the time in her life well and I really admire her moral courage. I like her mind. I appreciated her for listening to me in my adult life and also for being kind to me in my childhood. She was a kind and sincere friend to my mother, Daw Hla Than, and the rest of us. She is part of our family. If I have to write about my memories about Aunty Kyi Kyi it would be pages and pages. I will do that in my diary so that I can read it again and again. I would not be able to handle the loss of my mother very well if I did not get to talk to Aunty Kyi Kyi wihile my mother was in comma. Her voice had theraputic effect because she knew me well as a kid. The night that my mother passed, I was miles away from my mother and all by myself in my house. Also it was right in the middle of the night and the longest night for me. She took the news of her dear friend who was on death bed very well and also advised me on what to do and what kind of attitude I should have toward the passing of dear ones. Ko Ko Bo Bo and Ma Ma Tar, I will miss her a lot. I will remember to put my back to the sun at least for a few minutes a day so that I will get vitamin D. That was what she asked me to do when I spent the time at her house as a young girl. (Since I am gradually growing old, I will need lots of vitamin D. ) I got the attention I needed as a young girl from her and I am greatful for her generosity. To me, Aunty Kyi Kyi is my Aunty Kyi Kyi and she will always live in my heart.
