I first met Kathryn 25 years ago, we were recently arrived from Melbourne and Claire and Emily were at Willoughby Pre-School. At the end of the day the girls would play and Claire, who loved little ones would 'fuss over' Ainslie. Meanwhile, Kathryn and I would chat. Many more chats followed at the Bus Stop!!! Then in 1996 my dear sister, Elizabeth, was dying. Kathryn, recently diagnosed with Cancer herself, was there for us. Never did she appear negative about her own illness but rather compassionate toward me and our families. There are so many memories... A long battle over! I feel privileged to have known such a special person. Rest in Peace Helen Wesseling
