Judith was the most loving, generous person I have ever met (outside of her son Stephen, my husband). She was always extraordinarily kind to me, never critical or negative in any way. When Stephen moved to the US so that we could marry - she NEVER said a word to me against it, even though she was surely devastated for her only son to go so far away. Instead all she ever said to me about it was how happy she was that he and I were together. She told me over and over how much she loved us both, never saying anything about her own loss. After she learned she was dying I had many opportunities to talk with her privately. She never complained about her situation - instead would ask after my health and told me over and over that she loved me and Stephen. I'm so grateful to have known her, so blessed to have a mother-in-law who was so beautiful, so easy to love. For every tear I now shed, there are a thousand happy memories. And one day I know I will see her again.
