Joe was a great friend and an amazing human being, I'm glad that I was lucky enough to know him, we didn't have many of the same friends, so i found out of his passing on facebook. I HAVE PICS OF JOSH AND JOJO THAT I HANG IN MY HOME TO CELEBRATE THEIR LIVES AND FRIENDSHIP. BOTH PASSED TOO YOUNG AS THEY WATCH OVER US DAILY WE KEEP THEM IN OUR HEARTS AND MEMORIES. I have lots of memories of Joe but one of my favorites is when me and him were in high school we took a (wildlife management) feild trip and it was to some lake in charps chapel , we wodered off me joe and a few of our other friends we went too far and we were supossed to be back at the bus at a certain time and ,I wore flip flops so running was out of the question for me ,So joe offered to carry me while running so we wouldnt miss the bus, it seems like a short memory but there was so much more to that day that made it one of my favorite memories, I will cherish it until the day I die....I love you Joe and i miss you so very much, Not only were you my brother in law but you were one of my best friends....

THERE ARE SO MANY MEMORIES I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE.. BUT ONE GOOD WOULD BE WHEN ME, HIM, AND BIG JOE ALL GAVE BLOOD AT THE BLOOD DRIVE THEY WERE HAVING IN THE WALMART PARKING LOT LAST YEAR. HE OFFERED TO CARRY MY PURSE WHEN WE WERE DONE BECUASE MY HANDS WERE FULL AND NOT THINKIN ABOUT IT I LET HIM (WE JUST GOT PAID THAT DAY) HE DECIDED HE WAS GONNA TEASE ME AND SAY HE WAS GONNA TAKE MY MONEY AND KNOWING HE WASNT SUPPOSED TO RUN RIGHT AFTER GIVING BLOOD BECAUSE HE COULD PASS OUT HE DECIDED HE WAS GONNA GO AND DO IT ANYWAYS AND TOOK OFF RUNNING ACROSS THE PARKING LOT WITH MY PURSE AND ALL MY MONEY AND WHEN HE REACHED HIS CAR HE GOT LIGHT HEADED AND ALMOST PASSED OUT LOL BUT HE DIDNT CARE.. HE WAS ALWAYS DOIN CRAZY THINGS LIKE THAT BUT HE WAS SO MUCH FUN! HE BROUGHT A SMILE TO ANYONES FACE HE CAME IN CONTACT WITH WHETHER IT WAS SOMEONE HE KNEW OR NOT. HE HAD THE BIGGEST HEART OF ANYONE I KNEW AND HE WOULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING HE COULD TO HELP SOMEONE OUT I COULNDT COUNT ALL THE TIMES HE WAS THERE FOR ME ANY TIME I NEEDED HIM EVEN IF IT WAS JUST TO TALK HE WAS THERE. I LOVE AND MISS HIM SO MUCH! HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

I met Joe when we worked at Hungry Howies a few years back. Joe was my neighbor but I hadn't officially met him when he came and put his application in. I remember telling Emily.."Hey, I think that is my neighbor" and told her she should hire him. After that we worked together and become good friends. I remember us having dough fight, and the one thing he always did was come up with these crazy pizzas!! He would always put stuff together and of course we would try it...some times, it was not so great..lol!! Joe was always a sweet, honest, respectful guy...someone you could always count on. He always had a smile on his face and never hesitated to give a hug!! I will definitely miss him!! - Kandi

i will never forget when i first met jo, he was workin at walmart and my friends car over heated and antifreez went everywhere so when they moved the car he fell face first and played it off so cool like he was doin pushups. he was the big brother i never had, i loved him with all my heart and still do and always will, he was my "jobear" and ill never forget him, but i dont see how anyone could he always made me smile when all i wanted to do was cry he was always there for me and cared so much. the last thing i told him was he needed to go home so when i got married he could be there so we didnt have to do it in the ICU room cause we all wouldnt fit, now i know hell be there cause hes always with me and in my heart hell always be. I LOVE YOU JOBEAR AND MISS YOU DEALY BUT I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!!

My most fond memory of Jo Jo would be when we boys. i a teenager and Jo Jo a young child , we play a game called real life. Jo Jo was very grown- up in the way he appoached it. Even then you could tell that Jo Jo would be and always would be a wise and responible adult. His smile was in his eyes my mama would always say. But, missing JoJo would be a great injustice to his memory. I love my cousin Jo Jo like a brother ,heavens sake we were raise together most of our lives. I'll love you, I'll miss you, and I'll be thinking of you always .Never a bad thing was ever said that I heard.And if they ever did it was envie and sorrow on there part.I will always love you forever and forever.

I dont get to get to know jo jo very well but the few thime I had the chance to speak with him I thought the world of him. I only wish I would had the chance to get to know him better. he was very sweet and thats what I will go on remembering about him. When he come by while we didnt have a way tro get around and I needed dipars for my son he gave us a ride to walmart to get what we needed and when I tried to give him gas money he wouldnt take it he said to spend it on russell. That showed me how big his heart really was. He will be truely be missed. Keep smiling jo jo.

The day I go the news JoJo had died I absolutely could not believe the news. He was one of the best friends I ever had. There were so many times I needed a friend, didn't even have to ask and he was there, so many situations he went out of his way and stepped in to be a friend. Several times if he hadn't been there, I'm not sure what would have happened to me, but that was just how he was,. Jo Jo was always looking forward and never back. I'm so sad that he passed so young, but he does definitely live on in Shasta. I miss and love ya you JoJo. I'll be seeing you someday.

Jo Jo, I love you so much. My favorite memory of you is when you were a little boy, you were so good. You would get up in the morning, eat your breakfast and run off and play and at lunch time you were right there ready to eat again. Your eyes were always smiling when you were, which was always. it's hard to believe my baby brother has gone before me, he was always full of life. nothing life threw at him could get him down, only death had that power. jo jo i will miss you dearly. you could bring a smile to anyones face without even trying, it was so natural for you to inspire those around you. the world is a colder place without you. i love you brother and i miss you so much. take care and i will see you again soon enough.

One thing about Jojo, is he never failed to put a smile on someone's face. Even someone he just met.. he could never meet a stranger. Always a friend. I am so glad to have had the chance to know and love him, even in such a short time. He was my best friend. We will never let his memory die.. there's no way it could. We know he's still watching over us, and with us each day. We all love you Jojo and miss you terribly, but we take comfort in knowing we will see you again someday. Stay pimpin :) love you.

Everything he did, he made someone happy. That was one of the best things about him, and he never met a stranger. I am so proud to had the chance to know and love him. I have known Jo Jo his whole life. I even changed some of his diapers... oh boy lol. He was the greatest little boy when he was little, he was a real hoot!!!! He was never afraid of anything and he grew up to be one hell of a man! Tho your life here on Earth is over, your memory will live on forever!
