John Leigh was the Vice-President of the Outward Bound Association of Victoria in the early 1970s and he, together with the other Executive Committee, initiated activities to support the Outward Bound movement as well organising many bush walking, canoeing and rock climbing activities for themselves and the members. I have many wonderful memories of John and Rosemary at this time and especially of the two second Murray Marathons when Rosemary lead the support team. John was blessed with Rosemary and the kids but it is sad that he is gone at such a relatively young age.
