My dear Dad, I can not express the pain I feel loosing you, to not had what could have been for us, I loved you from the moment I met you, so many moments lost and so much gained, a life with you missed and mourned, missing you for the rest of my life, I never stopped thinking about you, I thought of you every day, I know you loved me and I loved you, I will forever miss you and what could have been for us, my dearest dad, I love you now and always forever, you daughter Josie/Yaz

Growing up I always remembered Uncle John as very soft-spoken, kind and gentle. To me, he never changed. When I last saw him a few years ago, just after Dad died, he was exactly the same. I will always be grateful to him for helping me through that difficult time in my life. Dad never got the chance to meet my husband or children but I am so grateful that my partner did get to meet John. He encompassed all the good qualities of my Dad. They were so much alike (and yet so different) in many ways.

John will always be remembered by Denise, Pat, Don, Graeme, Tracy and Samantha. His love, friendship and willingness to help will be greatly missed by those who knew him. John himself was crushed by the loss of his great friend Ian.
