I miss my beautiful Nan already. Not a day goes past that I dont think of her and Pop. She was always there for me and I will be forever grateful to have had someone as wonderful in my life for as long as I did. I grew up living with my grandparents and am so glad I had that chance. I hope that they are my angels now and I will love them always. Rest in peace Nan and Pop, together again forever.

My parents, Win and Jim Whitaker used to visit Jean and Laurie on their annual holidays travelling to Bright. I have a distinct memory or Jean's hospitality and a lovely morning tea. Win and Laurie are cousins. Win is 96 yrs old and is still living in her own home in Tumut. she was saddened to hear of Jean's passing
