Jim's life was one of service to his fellow man and commitment to his wife Maisie and a proud uncle to his niece and nephews, David, Terry, Alan, Kathy, and Michael and loving brother to Peg. For many years he was a devoted member of St Vincent de Paul in his parish, being involved in designing aged care units and their maintenance thereafter. As an employee of the NSW Housing Commission after the war he was appointed manager of a migrant centre near Sydney and was greatly influenced by the horror stories of those refugees from war torn Europe. Jim will live long in our memories.
