My memory of how Iris was a human, she heard we could not get matzo here in Michigan, and she sent us a crate of them for Passover. No questions asked. She was a wonderful friend to my husband and I. We will miss her.

We were best friends, "sisters", from a very young impressionable age. You were the best part of my growing up & I am so glad I had you in my life.. I wish we could have grown older together. It was so satisfying speaking to you this last year & remembering all the silly, hillarious pranks we shared. You have always been & always will be in my thoughts. I love you & miss you.

Ill forever remember you for your kindness to me....you were the first to op me in the #41plus channel, back when it took months to earn it....back when the channel was free of bots and back when we all could speak our minds and not get kicked out....we had mutual respect for each other....I can even remember the guy who was trying to play us both...and how we laughed at that guy for having the nerve to do so....lol...for all the ideas you shared with me about life and ppl and how no matter what, ppl come and ppl go in your life....ty for all you shared...rest in peace kiddo...you wont be forgotten!

Here's to you and your memory Iris. It has some of your favorites: Australia ( Peter Allen) , New York ( Radio City Music Hall and the Rockettes) and its wonderful showbiz music ( I Go to Rio). http://tinyurl.com/6j94wt and for some classic online IRC RiRi/RiX2 (and others) the infamous, dreadful and screamingly funny " Lazy Edna Dead Horse Story " chat log: http://www.lafayettecountypress.com/ednahorse.txt Your amazing mind, brilliant wit, wonderful heart, and sizzling, but brief, temper will never be forgotten, Iris.

Hey RiRi, so sorry to hear that you've passed away. You were always so nice on IRC, I never even knew you were ill. I hope you're at peace now.

From 1994, we became firm friends. Hence, Iris was the first visitor we had when we settled in our wee apartment in Nashua, New Hampshire - and together we visited the Bush compound at Kennebunkport, Maine, to show our views from the roadside. The resulting photo was to become our favourite photo of us. But not the end of our adventures. Iris then made the big trip to Australia and, on the spot, adopted my whole family, especially the dog. We became her own "Aussie family". She was always the most gracious and generous of guests, as well as friends. My family adored her to bits. Just recently, with the birth of a baby, Riri responded by adopting a Third World orphan in the baby's name, as well as putting money on a toys website. She often struggled financially but was never mean when it came to making big-hearted gestures. She came to Australia twice - and to New Hampshire twice. Before and after the breast cancer in both cases. I went to Buffalo and Philly to visit her. She was popular with everyone from the famous winemaker Peter Lehmann who insisted that he served "Kosher ham just for Iris" to my Philly friends who had not met anyone quite so smart and funny in years. Iris had a beautiful big brain with a dauntingly high IQ, an astonishing repository of general knowledge, the quickest wit in the business, a big heart, ferocious loyalty, political passion and, of course, her famous streak of quick-fire fury. Online, Iris was a part of my daily life. We co-inhabited and closely connected on several communities - from the old days of #41 plus through Stumbleupon to Facebook with a constant flow of emails throughout. I am bereft without her.
