Geoff, his family, and his parents Hugh & Barb, have been in my life since I was too young to remember. Many fabulous childhood memories of visits to Wesburn, and when I became a young adult, to Maloga Park. Geoff was my father Philips' best friend, and they were both taught by my Grandfather at Wesley College in Prahran. Until I became old enough to understand relative connections, I always thought that Hugh & Barb, and Geoff & Gwyneth, really were my Uncles & Aunts, and that Andrew, Peter, John & Fiona, my Cousins. Despite finding we have no blood connections, they have all been, and are still, 'family', as far as we are concerned. I will always treasure this special relationship with the McCallum clan, and feel privileged to have had the times I did with Geoff & his parents. After losing my own father almost 10 years ago, if feels like a chapter of the McCallum/Hughes families has closed now. My sincere best wishes, and love, to Gwyneth & family; Geoff will always be remembered respectfully for his honesty, integrity, and compassion. Cate (Catherine) Hughes, and on behalf of my mother Betty, and brother Maurice.
