i grew up watching mama's family, carol burnett show and other shows and with harvey in them he never left me without a laugh that's for sure. i feel like we lost a member of my family like a grandpa because i guess i only knew one of mine and i guess i sorta just always said to myself harvey fit the way my grandpa would be if he had would have survived the lung cancer before i was born so i just found harvey my comfort and joy in just believing and dealing and finding assurance in dealing with not really having my grandpa as for my other grandpa he molested me when i was very young and i was very scared and i am dealing with it now after 33 years i finally am coming forth. but anyway please accept my condolences and give my love and kindness to the family and friends to harvey's and tell them i am praying for all of them in their time of need. with love pamela

I loved him as Kazoo in the Flintstones. I spent many an hour with Harvey and Tim and Carol and Vicki and Lyle all cracking me up and every week it was Harvey's Job to get someone on stage to break character and laugh while doing a skit. I have often wondered what it would have been like to go to a party with him and enjoy his humor raw and uneidited. We will miss you very much Harvey a bit of sunshine was lost to this sad world.

I grew up on Carol Burnette and Harvey Korman. I would love to seeif he would go through a set without laughing, it never failed. You know you are funny when you make your self laugh. I loved Harvey Korman and was very sad to hear of his passing.

Thanks for creating this memorial page.

Now, all we have are those memories
As Harvey looks down, from afar.

Only a few months ago I had the honor of powdering Mr. Korman for an interview he did about Carol Burnett for a PBS tribute. He was charming, warm, chatty, delightful, brilliantly funny, gracious, and generous. Actually, I fell in love with him all over again. I have always adored his spot-on and hilarious characterizations. His charisma and stature were breathtaking. I am very sad for his beautiful wife and all of his children. The world is an emptier place without him.

When I was growing up, I always watched the Carol Burnette show. I watched so much I would imitate the actors. My mom got upset but still laughed. Harvey was a great part of my laughter. I loved watching him trying not to break character. Most of the time, it was pointless. It always made even funnier. Harvey, rest in peace. Heaven is waiting to laugh.

Upon hearing the news of Harvey's death--I just wanted to express my sadness and gratitude. In my most formative years; I was glued to the tv with the CBS Saturday line-up. "All in the Family," then "Mash," then "Mary Tyler Moore," then "The Bob Newhart Show" and then-most importantly to top ithe great comedy and acting off------"the Carol Burnett Show." Such acting-such writing--and most importantly--the way it made my family LAUGH. Harvey and Tim's skits in particular-when they tried to "break each other up." My family, and most importantly, Mom and Dad---got such a kick out of Harvey and Tim Conway which is why I became an actor and comedian-I wanted to be like them-to share humor and delight. These were lessons well taught and I'm eternally grateful for the role model Harvey instilled in me. That's why I became an actor a comedian-to share the joy of laughter and amusement to audiences, to make people laugh. Harvey will be sorely missed---I'm proud to call him a role model.--Mike Ravey-So. Burl, VT

I have warm memories of watching Harvey and the cast on Monday nights with my parents as a youngster. Now that was family entertainment. We couldn't wait to see how Tim would crack up Harvey in a sketch, but it was always worth the wait. It was magic.

Rest in Peace, Harvey.........you left us some great memories.
