Mr Maggs, as he was known to his students at Greensborough Primary School in the 1960s, was my most memorable teacher through all of my school years. A strong and gregarious man with an infectious and resonating laugh, he must have seen a spark of potential in an otherwise unremarkable half Italian kid and offered well measured encouragement to me. As far as I can remember he was the only teacher that all of the kids responded positively and enthusiastically to. I wished that I could have met him again in later life to acknowledge his value to all of the students he helped and inspired by his example. RIP and fondest memories, Robert.

I am writing this on behalf of my parents Kath & Laurie Tomlinson from Warracknabeal. They have some great memories of Graeme over the years and especially the trips spent in Adelaide in his younger days. His smile and laugh was infectious. He will be sadly missed by the family, but will be fondly remembered always. Love from Aunty Kath & Uncle Laurie and family xx

What great memories I have of you especially when you and Suzie and also you on your own would stay with me in Dimboola when you came to visit Auntie Ollie and we would go to the Vic Hotel for dinner and then go home and chat for hours about the 'good old days'. It was also great to catch up with you and Suzie on your trip to Darwin some years ago. Love from Jan and family in Darwin xx. RIP Cous.

Great memories of some excellent dinner parties with the fab four [well eight including partners]....good wine, wonderful food, but above all, excellent company and lively conversations [which only occasionally became heated!] We will miss you Maggsy. Our love to Suzie, Jolyon, Joanna, Chris and families. Julian and Barb Prendergast
