Death leaves a heartache No one can heal; Love leaves a memory No one can steal. You filled a part of my life which was missing, today and tomorrow, my whole life through, I will never forget you. Kage

Dad, we are all truly blessed to have had you in our lives - we have so many wonderful memories from our days in Rhodesia, South Africa, New York and New Zealand. You brought such joy, laughter and love into our lives. We all enjoyed your wicked sense of humour. Thank you for enriching our lives as a father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. We all love you very much and miss you. You are forever in our hearts. Be in peace and pain free in the arms of Jesus. Till we meet again, all our love always, Your loving daughter Jennifer, son-in-law, Mauro and grandchildren, Kelly, Wesley and Kim

Gavin, we had a wonderful fifty nine years of marriage. You were a very good father and a darling husband. I thank you for all you did for us, and for all the happy times, and sometimes sad, that we shared together. I am going to miss you so very much, but I know that you are safe in the arms of Jesus, and all your pain and suffering has come to an end. Forever in my heart, Your loving wife, Jeannie

An empty House, Your empty chair It feels so unreal That you are not there We feel you around us Your presence is known But this life is over With the angels you've flown Your suffering has ended A new journey you will start But you will always hold a special place Deep inside our hearts. We hope that you are looking at us From Heaven up above We hope that you can feel OUr everlasting love A proud respected Man Is how we will remember you Also the fun loving times And the things we used to do So leave us now our Father Our Grampa You put up such a strong fight But now you start a new life Go into that loving Light With all of our Love Cheryl, Jeff, Cindy and David.

Dad, thank you for all the wonderful memories - you were always happy to join in with all our activites - camping, where we laughed our heads off at how you and mom would crawl in and out of your tent, joining in with the boys and drinking all the concoctions they could think of. How you used to laugh at Jason shooting his friends running from window to window to watch them at our house. Sitting out in the middle of winter around a fire listening to the boys talk in their drunken stupor and always laughing at what they had to say. You were always "game" in anything we proposed and it was so wonderful to have you along with your fabulous sense of humour. We will definitely miss you dad. All our love and God Bless

Where do I begin? You have been a very special part of my life for so long, it does not seen right without you being here anymore. Thank you for loving us and especially your great grandchildren Branden,Aaron and Shanay. I remember when I was in labour with Branden, how you rubbed my back and constantly trying to ease my pain, then when Branden was older you and Granny loved to take him for walks up our street in Orangewood drive. Thank you Grampie for sharing in and being there for the special occasions in our lives and being constantly available to the family. Words can not express my love for you, please never forget how much I love and miss you. Till we meet again - My Grampie . . . . I LOVE YOU

I think that all of us grand kids have experienced our pants being pulled down and grampa just laughing us! Also, can't forget how $0.50c seemed like such a great deal to wash his feet!
