I can remember the day this happen. I was so shock of this. How could someone do such bad. I never new Eve personal but I new she was very important person. She is one of those people who love life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and especially her family and frineds. My God look over her. It makes me cry and upset so much. I don't understand why she had to be taking away. My the light all ways shine on you and I will never forget about you.

I hope science resurrects her and all other good citizens and that she again with her fine leadership helps us so someday soon we could all embark on our eternal universal endeavors leaving at least for a while this sad planet and all its unfortunate memories far behind...

The outpouring of love for his young woman has been inspirational. As a parent, my heart goes out to Eve's parents. As a teacher, my heart goes out to Eve's classmates, teachers and professors. To bad the Duke coaches did not honor her, as they should have, by wearing a ribbon during the Duke vs UNC game.

I am a Carolina alum who has never met Eve, but from what I know of her, she truly embodied the "Carolina spirit." I know that we will all go on to strive to be the university, and the people, she envisioned. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. This is just unfathomable.

News are always bad, but Eve was never about bad news, she was always searching for the good ones. She was a hard worker and a brought the fun at work, whether she'd meet new students or the older ones. The one who hurt her can never raise evil, but the good will be whispered and raised up under the eyes of God, because once born, someone can never die, although some may go to Heaven and some may go to hell. Thank God for Eve's life and may she continue to bless others with her wonderful memory and spirit! Thanks Jesus for being with her too and with us!

how is it possible that such an inspiring person could be so heartlessly taken away. This world is without a doubt poorer without her. Do something nice for someone in her honor

Eve, I never knew who you were personally; however you were a part of my larger family of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. You were making such an impact not only on Chapel Hill, but the world at large. I, too, grieve your loss because it was a senseless tragic event and has taken from the world the promise of a bright future with leaders such as you who had so much to give. I have a dear friends whose children currently attend UNC or attended UNC and had the privilege to know you. They are both grieving the loss of such a fantastic person. In a time like this it is difficult to see that anything positive will come out of this, but I am sure that God has a plan for you and that your death will not be in vain. Take your place in the Golden Land and we promise to carry on your legacy in memories and deeds. To your family, I send my deepest condolences because I cannot imagine the terror they must be experiencing in this moment. May God be with them through this tragic time and throughout their ongoing memories of your life. May God Be With You!

My heart goes out Eve's family and friends. Her life is a touching story of devotion to happiness and service. Her family was blessed to raise such an amazing daughter who touched so many lives. She lived it to the fullest. God Bless.

Eve, May all your family and friends remember and cherish all the love, and dedication that you gave to them and the world. My 20 year old sister passed away last year when her car was hit by a tractor trailor truck driver who was asleep at the wheel. I know right now everything seems so unreal and numb and I feel the most important thing is to be there for each other and not be afraid of your feelings. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

May God grant special grace to all of us Americans that mourn the tragic loss of Eve, especailly those that were closest to her. May the perpetrator be brought to Justice and we find some answers that may assuage the heart. May we all bend the knee for our broken culture.

As a UNC alumnus and former student leader, I am deeply saddened by Eve's cruel exit from this world. As a father of three women, my life has been altered by this lovely, talented young woman's death. I pray that you are with God, Eve.

Eve wasn't born yet when I left Chapel Hill, but this feels like it happened to my litttle sister. It's an assault on all of us who will always belong to this place.

I didn't know Eve either but the situation hits close to home. I will keep the Carson family in my prayers so that they may have the strength to make it through this loss. From what I hear Eve was a tremendous person with an equally great personality. A beautiful young woman both inside and out. May she be blessed in her death and soar with the Angels in Heaven and on the shoulders of those in need on Earth. May her family blessed in life...

I didn't know Eve, but I feel like I did after hearing what kind of person she was. She was the type of person we should all try to be everyday. She did not deserve this. May god be with the UNC family and her family!

Eve will be missed by all who knew her and all whose lives were touched by her. She was a real leader whom people both naturally respected and liked. I don't know why this happened, I only know that with fewer people like Eve in this world, the planet has become a sadder place.

To Family and friends of Eve. Many prayers are with you today and always. Wonderful people that are so amazing as Eve will live forever in the hearts of so many people she new and so many more she never met. My 16 year old cousin was killed in a car wreck 13 years ago. He was also so wonderful in so many ways as Eve. His memories have continued in my life and I pray that Eve's wonderful spirt will always inspire you to live a wonderful life knowing one day you will reunite.
